Erica Ramsey joined The Rhoads Group team as a Producer in September of 2016.
“What attracted me to being a member of The Rhoads Group was the level of professionalism and depth of knowledge of all of my team mates.  What I love about this agency in that every single agent here is a rock star, truly focused on delivering exceptional service, every single time, to every single client.”
Erica’s career in Insurance began a few years ago when a former boss jokingly suggested she might do well as an Insurance Agent. After taking her State Licensing exams and passing with flying colors, Erica wasn’t satisfied with being just an Insurance Agent – she hit the ground running and achieved the Sales Excellence recognition within the first 6 months.
Prior to becoming an Insurance Broker, Erica spent twenty plus years in different privately owned Fortune 400 companies as an Executive Assistant for “C-Level” (CEO, CFO, CMO) executives.  This experience of her being the “fly on the wall” during several sticky mergers and upheaval in the post 9-11 economy has always made her proclaim she was “gonna write a tell-all book someday” about her various experiences within organizational management.
Her passion for economic empowerment, customer focus, and making sure her clients have a solid understanding of their insurance coverages makes her a standout in the industry.
Erica specializes in residential property and landlord insurance, secondary home coverages, and auto insurance for households with young drivers.
“The first thing I’m going to do when we meet is I’m going to shut up and listen to you,” she says. “Before I start recommending any coverages, I need to understand your needs.”
Erica is a proud and active member of the East Cobb Rotary, the Cobb Chamber of Commerce Business Builders, the ASCNN (Atlanta Senior Care Network Niche) and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Alumnae Chapter.  Her hobbies include painting, reading, and studying Shinkendo (Japanese sword) at the Atlanta Budokan in Smyrna where she is also a part-time kickboxing instructor.
She and her husband Scott are long time Cobb County residents and have several “four-legged fur babies”.
If you have any insurance related questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Erica — whether you are her client or not, she is always eager to be of help and answer any questions you might have.
